Seniors paying the price as Corbett continues secret negotiations to outsource management of the PA lottery

Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced today that she will not sign a contract to turn over the management of the Pennsylvania Lottery to a British firm.

Kane’s role was to review the contract for form and legality. It was unclear at the time of this post what the basis of her rejection is, but that information will be provided on as it becomes available.

Kane announced her decision at a press conference that began at 12:15 p.m., but her aide said she would only take questions via e-mail, because of the technical complexities of the legal arguments.

Many expect some type of a court challenge to be filed.
