Herald Standard cites growing public suspicion on lottery deal

HARRISBURG – Growing public suspicion appears to have forced Gov. Tom Corbett to consider sharing details about a possible contract with a British company to privately manage the Pennsylvania Lottery.

Corbett said Thursday he was considering holding a public hearing to answer the questions people have been asking about the 20 to 30 year contract with Camelot Global Services for the management of the state’s $3.5 billion lottery operation.

“We are, probably, leaning that way,” Corbett said about a public hearing.
